Murrysville Medic One is ready to provide local and long distance wheelchair van services and the transportation of children with special needs to the transportation of the elderly. This extremely specialized form of transportation is delivered by a team of professionals who are highly qualified, fully licensed and CPR trained to be aware of the special needs of the people they transport.
Murrysville Medic One’s fleet of wheelchair vans is capable of transporting multiple passengers. The vans are equipped with hydraulic lifts and ramps to meet the needs of all types of wheelchairs. An extra-wide lift is used for bariatric wheelchairs.
Vehicle Fleet
Each vehicle is oxygen equipped and supplied with life saving equipment to ensure the passenger’s safety and care during transport. Each of the vans have been licensed and comply with an annual inspection by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

Scheduling
Scheduling should be done in advance to ensure the availability of a van. But advanced notice is not required.
