State Route 366 and State Route 66

Murrysville Medic One responded to assist Oklahoma EMS with a 3-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 366 & State Route 66 with reported entrapment. 3 Patients were flown by medical helicopters and 1 transported by ground to a local hospital

Kennedy Ave, Export

Dispatched to Kennedy Aveune in Export Borough for a reported head-on MVC with one vehicle into a house. Upon arrival of crews found minor injuries

Kelington Court, Murrysville

Dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at a private residence along Kellington Court, Murrysville. First units arriving were reporting a dump truck and trailer that lost control and hit a building. First fire officers arriving immediately recognized the structure to be unsafe structurally and with the odor of gasoline throughout the residence. Odor control was accomplished with PPV, but securing the structure took nearly Five and a half hours using many specialized pieces of equipment from Sardis and Murrysville Fire Departments

Murrysville Medic One responded to a two car MVC with entrapment at the intersection of Clairidge Road and Manordale Drive. Two occupants were transported to local hospitals

Murrysville Medic One responded to Route 380 near Route 366 for one car MVC. Minor injuries were reported and patients were transported to local hospitals

Support 610

Plum Borough

Support 610 responded into Plum Boro to assist with a structure fire that damaged several structures. Support 610 provided rehab to firefighters from Plum Boro, Murrysville, and Sardis. Plum EMS provided EMS coverage.

 










Flooding

August 9, 2007

Many roadways and homes were flooded in Murrysville and Export following heavy rains.  Murrysville Medic One offered Support Services to the many agencies who help to limit the damage caused by this natural disaster.

 


Gas Line Fire

August 9, 2007

George Town Lane, Murrysville

Responded to Georgetown Lane, Murrysville, when a lightening strike erupted a nature gas line. Several buildings were evacuated as a precaution
